We believe that baptism in water is a necessary next step after being born again through salvation. It is a celebration among witnesses to the new life you have received and a testimony to all that you are unashamed to be a follower of Christ. There are many misconceptions about baptism that often distract from it's true purpose in a believer's life. At our church, we make it clear that being baptized in water will not save you nor guarantee your entrance into heaven. Rather, baptism is simply a public declaration of what Jesus has already done in your heart by saving you. Therefore, all candidates should already be saved and born again prior to their baptism.
